ZS2EZ OPERATING STATISTICS
Statistics now include ALL operations, including 2001-2003 in Johannesburg as ZR6DXB (6m/2m/Satellite), 2003-2005 as ZR2DX (VHF/Satellite/HF) and 2005- present as ZS2EZ. Since receiving my unrestricted callsign in July 2005, ZS2EZ has been active on a number of bands and modes. The following statistics reflect my activity from February 2001.
The period 10 January 2022 - 06 January 2022 saw 8 365 QSOs added to the log. During this time activity was almost exclusively in FT8 and FT4. During this time I was chasing the DX Marathon, looking to set a new ZS Digital Record. Amplifier was unused the entire year (and sold in November) - all operation was at an average of 80W. My rotator was broken for the entire year, leaving my beam stuck pointing towards Asia. Operation on 80m/60m/30m was via wire dipoles in inverted V, and a ZS6BKW dipole (very low - also inverted V with apex 8m off ground)) allowed SOME 17m/12m operation. VHF was totally eliminated due to lack of antennas and equpment.
